What a delightful way to keep your tortillas or bread warm than with a volcanic stone container, that due to its properties will definitely do a great job. 

Basalt can hold-up to 1200ºC (2192ºF) of temperature so it makes it the perfect material to keep the warmth for longer. In addition, tzalam and mexican oak woods are known for its tropical characteristics, sourced from the southeast of Mexico, they are ideal to resist extreme temperature changes without harming its structure.

Maintenance:

• Hand wash with soap and a brush.

• Due to its natural finishes, the stone might acquire a darker color when exposed to oils or certain foods. 

• Do not wash the wooden lid in the sink, simply cleanse it with a wet cloth.
